Reserva Aberta: Histórias que não cabem na vitrine

‘Reserva Aberta’ is a project that promotes cultural heritage. ‘Histórias que não cabem na vitrine’ (Stories that don’t fit in the display case) is a podcast dedicated to the various facets of cultural heritage, museums and narratives that shape the collective memory of the Alentejo and Algarve regions. Created by Ana Vieira Chambel and Keitty de Oliveira Silva, with the support of CIDEHUS, the project combines academic research, museum practice and the wish to make heritage accessible and critical.

Through conversations with experts, the podcast looks at why heritage matters today, especially for diverse communities in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and Yemen. Produced by the TRANSITION project, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme (KA2 – Capacity Building in Higher Education, Strand 1, Grant Agreement No. 101178520).
