Communicating History Research
This exhibition of 14 academic posters is the result of work carried out during the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year as part of the ‘Problems and Debates in History’ seminar within the Master’s in History programme at the University of Évora.
The diversity of topics, approaches and time periods represented here reflects the range of interests and the creativity of the students. The challenge set for them was to present the initial proposal for their respective dissertation projects or internship plans in the form of a research poster. The aim was to encourage early reflection on their research topics, to teach them how to communicate historical research, and to enhance each student’s academic profile, thereby helping to raise their profile in the public sphere.
This exhibition project, which is now coming to a close, also aims to highlight the quality, innovation and creativity fostered by the Master’s in History in the training of history professionals and researchers. Finally, we would like to acknowledge and express our gratitude for the assistance provided by the CIDEHUS communications team and the support of the Department of History at the School of Social Sciences, University of Évora.
