IV International Congress of Palaeography and Diplomatics
On October 7 and 8, 2025, the IV International Congress of Palaeography and Diplomatics took place at the Public Library of Évora and at the Colégio do Espírito Santo.
The event brought together participants from Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Hungary, Lithuania, Brazil, among others. Topics discussed included Palaeography, Diplomatics, Codicology, Archival Studies, writing agents, and Digital Humanities.
On October 7, participants also enjoyed a guided tour of the Public Library of Évora, led by its Director, Dr. Zélia Parreira.
The next edition of the congress is planned for 2027, allowing 2026 to be dedicated to the preparation and publication of the 2025 conference proceedings through the Open Access editions of CIDEHUS.
